Mike Melville

Novato, California, resident Mike Melville has worked with Enterprise Holdings, Inc., for over 25 years and serves as a regional vice president for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. In charge of offices in San Francisco, San Jose, and Oakland, he manages the company’s operations at all San Francisco Bay Area airports and handles duties ranging from risk management review to account negotiations. Before relocating to Novato, Mike Melville oversaw close to 50 Enterprise Rent-A-Car branches as a regional rental manager for the New York City Area. He has maintained higher than average growth rates throughout his tenure with Enterprise and has won several customer service and performance achievement accolades.

To support San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee’s campaign for local employment opportunities, Michael Melville has collaborated with city officials to create 40 summer internship positions with Enterprise Holdings. He has also partnered with municipal authorities in San Francisco and Burlingame to launch the Park Smart initiative, which aims to raise awareness among tourists concerning the risks of leaving valuables untended in their vehicles. As a member of the San Mateo County Convention and Visitors Bureau he has helped plan for major tourism events, such as Super Bowl 50.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Michael Melville maintains membership in such Napa Valley wineries as Miner Family Wines, Pine Ridge Vineyards, and Chimney Rock. He visits New York twice a year to see family, enjoys taking skiing trips to Vermont and Lake Tahoe, and has previously traveled to several Caribbean islands.
